Livestock

The EGL Pastoral Livestock business is based on the groups five dedicated finishing units strategically placed in the South Island.  To compliment these farms we have contracted farmers and sharefarmers.

Lamb finishing in the EGL Pastoral group is year round specialising in the shoulders of the season.
We procure lambs from a wide farmer base and buy and assist in the marketing of prime and store stock.  We do this internally or with the assistance of select livestock agents.

We welcome enquiry regards marketing options for your prime stock.

Sharefarming

We offer contracts for Store and Prime livestock markets. Many options are available including no capital outlay.

Grazing

We purchase grazing though out the South Island either per head, per week or paddock price.
